Tufting is a technique where yarn or thread is pulled through a surface to create loops or piles. This can be seen in activities like rug making, carpet manufacturing, and even some types of textile art. The process involves using a tufting gun and pushing yarn through a material, like fabric or a backing, to create a looped or piled texture on the other side, forming patterns and designs. In this class, you will go through all the steps of creating your own design through tufting. 

Send your choice of either of a leaf or pumpkin to Tony, Tony@monroestreetarts.org, by 10/5/2024 to ensure your piece is ready to be made on the first day of the workshop. All supplies included.
