Take your oil painting skills to the next level! Designed for those who have completed beginner oil painting or are comfortable with basic painting techniques, this class will help you hone your skills and expand your artistic capabilities. Build on the foundational techniques of oil painting to create more complex compositions, experiment with different styles and color schemes, and develop your own artistic voice.

Karen Edie
She/Her/Hers
Miss Karen grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She started teaching art at the age of 12, when her grandmother, who was her lifelong artistic patron, confessed that she’d always wanted to learn, but felt she had no artistic talent and had never tried. Karen proved to her grandmother that anyone can learn to be an artist. She received her MFA in oil painting and moved to Wisconsin to raise her children, both of whom love art fearlessly.
