capital campaign

Ask any artist and they’ll tell you the importance of space: to imagine, discover, and create. Since opening our doors in 1997, Monroe Street Arts Center has dedicated itself to providing those spaces through Madison. Over the last 22 years we’ve brought art, in all its forms, to our city, and we believe that’s made the world a better place. This space is magical and we’d like to create more of it.

Having too many people interested in the arts is actually a pretty wonderful problem to have, but only if we can solve it. The good news is, we believe we can, together! In order to keep providing Madison with the opportunity to create and experience art, we need your help! Our new location will have the space and resources to expand programming, classes, and outreach with collaborative partners from all corners of the city. We’re also looking forward to developing more programming for teens and older adults and continuing to be a pipeline for many other youth arts programs throughout Madison. With your help through this capital campaign, MSAC will have the capacity to become a city-wide arts center for years to come. Come see what we can create, together.

We believe in MSAC because it brings people together and makes the city and the world a more beautiful place. There’s no better way to spread hope than to spread joy. Plus it’s fun for kids!
