Exploratory Art, Ages 0 - 3.5
Experience art in a setting where exploration and discovery are the main focus. Based on sensory learning and the process of creating art, young artists will experience a new texture, color, or media in each class. Parent or caregiver attends. Early Childhood Art, Ages 2 - 5
Perfect for siblings! Experiment with drawing, painting, constructing, and more, all in an open and fun environment. Each class will start with a children’s story to inspire the day’s art project. Little Scholars, Ages 3.5 - 5
Little Scholars is an arts based school readiness program. This class is designed to provide an immersive, playful, and social engagement in art and music. Music Together (Mixed Age Class), Ages 0 - 5
A community of families sharing songs, instrument play, rhythm changes and movement activities in a relaxed, playful, non-performance based environment.

Each 90 minute class will focus on practicing techniques based on important works of art and art styles, which will provide the groundwork for artistic growth and understanding. Homeschool Art: Middle + High School Intensive / Ages 12-18
Interested in an immersive homeschool class for your middle or high school student? We offer a semester long, intensive art class twice a month which provides students with art techniques and knowledge they build upon throughout the semester. Students engage in class works, complete sketchbook assignments, and submit a final art project at the end of each semester. Instructor permission needed to enter the class. Oasis / Grades K-12
MSAC’s inclusive art studio designed to accommodate students with varying needs. Instructors are trained in art therapy and have extensive classroom experience. They use their knowledge and expertise to ensure age and ability appropriate experiences.
Thanks to private funding, the Capital Times Kids Fund, and the Madison Arts Commission Grant, we are able to offer this class at no cost to participants. Donations are welcome.

High School Intensive Art Studio / Ages 15-18
Join us for a semester long, intensive art class twice a month which provides students with art techniques and knowledge they build upon throughout the semester. Day Off School Camps / Ages 5-11
When school is closed, come spend the day with MSAC! Each camp will consist of a variety of media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and much more. Winter Break Art Camp / Ages 5 - 11
Join us for winter break at MSAC! Each camp focuses on a specific media including painting, drawing, sculpture, mixed media, and much more. A supervised lunch break is available from 11:30-12:30 PM. Open Art Studio / Ages 5 - 13
Use our studio as your own! Work on a self directed project under the guidance of an experienced art teacher. We will provide all of the art materials and one planned project per class to get you started. Registration is required and spots are limited.
Open Art Studio is offered on Saturday’s from 1:00-2:30 PM during the school year and summer session, and weekdays from 3:00-4:30 PM during the summer session.
Family Art Workshops / All Ages
Our workshops are the perfect activity for family and friends to do together. Parent or caregiver attends (for free) with children 5 and under. All materials included.
Sunday, November 17 - Origami Creations: 1 - 4 PM // Learn or perfect your skills in the ancient Japanese art of paper folding! Students will have access to a variety of patterns, and will create their own mobile take home. Register here.
Saturday, December 7 - Snow Globes: 1 - 3 PM // During Holiday Glow on Monroe Street! Create your own winter wonderland in a jar using polymer clay, glass, and other decorative embellishments. Snow gloves will be taken home the same day. Register here.
Adult Art Classes

We offer weekly lessons during the school year (September-May) and flexible scheduling during the summer.

$33 per 30 minute lesson, $48 per 45 minute lesson, and $63 per hour lesson. Students are billed monthly

Generally anyone ages 5 to adult. Different instructors teach different ages.
How do I get started?
