What days are available to book my party?

During the school year, we host parties on Friday evenings and Saturday early afternoons. If you have any questions about the party booking process, please email our events manager, mychela@monroestreetarts.org

What Projects Can We Choose?

Each party host gets to choose two instructor-led art projects: an art appetizer and one main project. How long will our party be?

Each party includes 2 hours of fun:We estimate 90 minutes of hands-on art led by an MSAC instructor, followed by 30 minutes for cake, food, singing, and celebration!

Our parties are designed for kids turning 5 and up.Yes, we offer parties for adults too!

What is the cost of a party at MSAC? What is included?

Can we bring food and decorations?

Yes! You're welcome to bring cake, food, beverages, decorations, party plates, and napkins. Please note: MSAC is a peanut- and tree-nut-free facility.MSAC can provide carts to assist you in bringing items from your vehicle inside.

Question 7

Can we arrive early to set up?

Accepted Answer

You may arrive 15 minutes early for setup and have 15 minutes afterward for packing up.

Question 8

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancel 14+ days before the party: full refund minus a 20% admin fee
Cancel less than 14 days before: 50% refund
Cancel day-of: no refund

If you need to reschedule let us know as early as possible—we’ll do our best to find a new date, but rescheduling is not guaranteed.

If your child is sick, or there is inclement weather we’ll do our best to reschedule, though this is not guaranteed.

Question 9

When is the final headcount and payment due?

A final headcount is due 5 business days prior to the party to ensure we have ample art supplies for your project.

We will take a headcount the day of the party for accurate invoicing. Final payment will be billed 1-2 days following the party.

What should the kids wear?

Accepted Answer

Please remind guests to dress for mess! Most materials are washable, but we can’t promise everything will come out. We do have aprons that your guests can borrow to help protect their clothing.

Question 11

Can parents stay for the party?

Accepted Answer

At least one grown-up of the birthday kid must be present. Other adults are welcome to drop off or stay in the lobby or room as space allows. MSAC staff do not assume liability—Birthday party hosts and grown-ups are responsible for all the kids and guests attending the party.
