Alix Bushard

Alix is a classically trained recent graduate from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Music - Vocal Performance at the Voxman School of Music. With specialties and performance experience in opera, musical theater, pop, jazz and more, Alix loves to perform and guide students of all ages reach their vocal goals. Alix has extensive knowledge on vocal pedagogy and promotes healthy singing techniques in all her lessons.

Community involvement is a pillar of Alix’s values. She served as the President and Vice President of the University Choir, the School of Music’s highest undergraduate ensemble. She served as the Undergraduate Representative on the Administration board for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging and is passionate that music is for everyone.

Alix has extensive performance experience in various styles and loves to take on challenging repertoire. She has toured with the University Choir to perform on stages in Chicago, Minneapolis and Lincoln, NE. Additionally, she played a supporting role in the premier performance of the opera, “Fierce" and has been casted in multiple musical theater productions. She can’t wait to meet you and help you to grow your talents!
