Brynn Gianatassio

Voice

She/Her/Hers

Brynn Gianatassio is classically trained as a recent graduate from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Music - Concentration in Musical Theatre and a Minor in Music Entrepreneurship. Brynn has extensive performance experience in musical theater, pop, jazz, and classical. She fell in love with performing at 5 years old while living in New York, doing community theatre & Broadway workshops. She carries that love into her teaching, placing an emphasis on character work and audition preparation.

Brynn was a member of the University of South Carolina Concert Choir - the School of Music’s highest undergraduate ensemble & Carolina Alive Jazz Choir. As part of the Concert Choir, she was able to tour and perform in different venues across Atlanta, Washington D.C., and even Italy. Other individual performance experiences include lead roles in “25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and “Urinetown”. Brynn was also a part of the development of a new musical, “Rocky Mountain High” with Tony award-winning composer Mark Hollmann. This allowed her to get a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.

Before her role at Monroe Street Art Center, Brynn worked as an Administrative Assistant at Franklin Brentwood Arts Academy in Tennessee. In her free time, she loves to read, watch movies & go hiking! She looks forward to building strong relationships with her students & hopes to make them fall in love with singing as she did years ago!
